Investigación

My PhD research, directed by Luisa Amo, focuses on the role of olfaction in the relationship between birds and their environment. We are mainly interested in the chemosensory capability of birds in relation to some of their main needs in an interspecific context, including foraging activities and predator avoidance. Therefore, we explore the chemical ecology of birds to understand the multi-trophic interactions involving plants, preys, birds and predators.
